The lasts that Feit is loyal to were created by master last maker Verdichio Padrone in 2005. Lasts provide the shoes shape, fit, feel, and make the difference in support. By staying true to their set of lasts means that Feit customers can switch styles and get the same fit. One piece uppers are then wrapped around these lasts and hand stitched at the heel, allowing the shoe to stretch and break-in evenly - guaranteeing a long life of personalized comfort and beauty. Everything is done by hand and this conversation with the leather allows the craftsman to use materials judiciously and to adapt and improve the product during construction - supporting tweaked improvement and creativity. Every shoe and boot is handmade from start to finish by one master craftsman. 

Using vegetable-tanned leather that is a by-product of the meat industry, Feit does everything they can to be environmentally considerate and to affect positivity without demanding more from the Earth than they’re able to give back. They make a beautiful shoe that you can feel good about supporting as they support you in your stride.
