After studying product design and shoemaking in London, Takashi Kanokogi returned home to Tokyo and launched RFW (then known as Rhythm Footwear) in 1998. His signature look of refining classics - pure ideas put to form - has broad appeal, but it wasn’t until 2009 that they could be purchased outside Japan.
