Chimala is best known for their meticulous distressing processes that create comfortable favorites from day one. Pursuing the best fabrication and production from Japanese artisans and mills, designer Noriko Machida and her team create workwear, military, and sportswear inspired by designs of the 50’s through the 70’s and add living character. Never overdone, each fade-spot, flourish, whisker, and wrinkle is done with study - accurate and reverent art reflecting the individual movements they are surrounded and guided by.
